Finding Good Books: TheoSource

From the website description: “TheoSource is a place to find information on Theological Sources (i.e. bibliographical sources and recommendations). TheoSource book lists are an attempt to compile as many reputable recommendations into one place as is possible. Here you will find recommended books on theology, Christian biography, Bible commentaries (OT & NT), Bible study, church history, and more.”

I highly recommend this site. You can download .pdf’s of recommended book lists obtained from reputable seminaries and categorized in various ways. The biographical sketches, often posted on the subject’s birthday or death date, are a favorite feature. Tim Ashcraft and Jason Button (the book review editor for SharperIron – check out the book review website here) also keep readers informed about new releases and important theological issues and provide helpful links to resources from other sites (such as book reviews, tips on reading, etc.). In addition to their site being syndicated, one can also subscribe by email (a helpful feature I have taken advantage of).

Doug, Thank you for the kind words. You’ve been a great encouragement to me as we’ve corresponded over the past few months. Keep up the good work here at “Gazing at Glory”!For His Name’s Sake!

Jason, You’re quite welcome, and ditto for the encouragement you’ve given me. Keep pressing on, and may the Lord guide you and continue to use you and your labors for His glory.
